You Bought it… Why not review it?
Ok, so this is another idea of how to make money from home. However, this is not something that will cover your bills is something extra OK! I fee I need to make emphasis on that being that I’ve mentioned in several places that I do work from home and do it full time. The idea is to give you one tip at the time so that you can try getting your feet wet and see if is something you like.
Working from home often takes just as much, if not more time than if you were running your own business. Which is pretty much what we are doing here, the difference is that for you to start with the smaller ideas given here you may not need anything other than internet and electricity… and these you can even use from the public library to begin with.
So enough of that, I have a couple of sites that I like very much for this topic. One of the reasons is that for those of us who are into blogging and online business, it put us in somewhere in the Google Map ( will talk about this later on.) Besides that, tons of other online customers who like to do their research before they buy a product will be reading your comments and ratings.
So how it works:
Once you have created your account (obviously
) you start searching for products that you already have purchased and give your rating, along with a small comment it can be as short or long as you’d like. You can also search these sites to see what other people are saying about them and rate the comment on how useful it was for you to make your decision.
Usually, I use these sites to look for any type of software or anything that I will be purchasing online and I can’t see or touch. In many other sites like BestBuy, we can see the rating alongside the product. However, this is not always as helpful as we’d like because sometimes either there is not enough users giving their opinions or there is no one who had written anything. So for buyers like me – Internet Junkies- the answer are sites like these.
In return the reviewer collects points, after you collect a certain minimum required by the site -depending on the site-, can be withdrawn in the form of dollars or a prize from the site.
The reality behind “Get Paid to read emails”
So, as they days go by, more and more of us really want to stay home. Whether is the commuting, or wanting to spend time with the kids? Or just knowing that others out there are working in their flower boxers or pink thongs… while u are stuck traffic kills you (hater lol). Or you have worked for “the man” and now you want to do “you” … whatever your reason is, you end up from time to time googling “work from home” and end up with a endless list of Crap sites that tell you how you can just sign up and read e-mails and just get “paid”… and These are amongst those that turn out to be MLMs (multi- level marketing) – which we will discuss later.
The point is, it sounds great, BUT can you realistically let go of your job and seat at home reading e-mails and make an income out of it?
Well, I’ve been seating at home for the past 18 months now… working from home and my answer is ABSOLUTELY NO. Not unless you are ready to create one separate e-mail account and sign up to every single site you come across that promises you to pay you to read e-mails… and even so, it wont work. Here is why:
You need money to earn money: Like any business, you need money to invest. However, make no mistake these are not money investments. You are simply getting money back for making a purchase, which pretty much works as if you were to go to a store and buy something and using a coupon that gives you … 10% off per se
Let say that you want to play “smart” and spend $0.00, then you will get cents on the dollar to “read” the e-mail. This is a lot more for reading an ad, then what you get for reading one of those endless and useless chain letters sent by your friend Tim isn’t? However, we need to keep in mind the key : PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR, which is telling you that you won’t be able to pay a mortgage by just reading e-mails… even if you were to do it 24 hours a day!
I’m not trying to discourage anyone though, I do have three memberships to those that have paid me. I have to note that not all of them pay you actual currently, there are some that sends you prices… which I’m really not interested in but there are a couple that pay you.
I”ve use these sites though, when I’m looking to purchase something online. I do read the e-mails sent to the e-mail account I’ve dedicated, but I don’t hold my breath on getting them daily either. The best use I find them is like, if I run out of ink or I’m looking for a new insurance quote, then I go into their “get paid to shop” or even refer to the e-mails they send and sign up for their product. In occasions I actually get up to 60% off what I paid for, which in my opinion is a great deal!
So, if after my little dogging of these sites you want to try out here are two that I like the most:
As you will be able to see, they don’t just pay you for reading e-mails, you can shop and sign up for trials… at the end of it though they give you a “thank you token” for spending money with their affiliates
Enjoy!
